Children’s Day Musings..

Children’s Day Musings

Some years ago,I had read some beautiful thoughts about how children grow up.Today on Children’s  Day,I would like to share with you all, what I recall :
Children Learn What They Live

If a child lives with criticism,he learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility,he learns to fight.
If a child lives with shame,he learns to be shy.
If a child lives with tolerance,he learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement,he learns confidence.
If a child lives with praise,he learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness,he learns justice.
If a child lives with security,he learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval,he learns to like himself.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship,he learns to find
 love in the world.

Just ponder over the above and endevour to  teach our children all positive things,so that they have no negativity in their lives.

HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY !!

A child is like raw clay which can be moulded into any shape by the potter. Once a king was resting under a tree after a day’s hunt. He heard a voice from the tree top “Kill him, kill him.” He went to another tree for rest. There he heard a voice “Welcome, Welcome. Take this fruit.” After returning to the palace, he sent his minister to investigate. It was found from a hermit nearby that a mother parrot gave birth to two young chicks. One chick lived in his hermitage and learnt to speak courteous words. The other one lived in a butcher’s shop and learnt to speak wicked words. This story shows that though both chicks came from one and the same womb, it is the environment influence that counts in their style of living.

Brocaji, What you’ve thoughtfully disseminated here could as well be the ABC of a Child’s Development. In fact, I’ve tried to analyse myself in the light of these musings. A nice one for every parent to read everyday in the morning.
