Cock and Hen story…
Last week I happened to attend a kid’s birthday party. As usual, there was dancing, singing, fun making, besides cake cutting and dinner etc. A kid narrated a funny story, which tickled me.So permit me to share it with you.
Murga bola murgi sey : I love you jaan.Main tumhaarey liyey kuchch bhi karr sakta hoon.Murgi boli : Hai Allah ! Sachee? Murga bola : Haan, jaan. Murgi boli : Chal firr, aaj andaa tu hee dey dey !
For those have difficulty in understanding Hindi, here is my humble effort of translating the story into a verse ! (could be worse ?)
Said the cock to the hen,one day:
“I really love you my dear,
I can do anything you wish for my dear.”
Asked the hen:”Is that true? Pray do say”
When the cock re-affirmed what he had said,
The hen looked at him with awe and thoughfully said
“OK, if that be so,instead of me,today, you lay the egg !!”
I wonder if there is an underlying message in this story !
I shall feel obliged if readers enlightened me.
This reminded me of an old song from a Hindi film titled:
“Do Kaliyyan”(1968) where, the now very famous Neetu Singh, had portrayed her first double role of two sisters,as a child star, then named as Baby Sonia. The song went something like this :”Murga murgi pyaar sey dekhe..” See this cute song on Youtube by going to the following link :
E..n..j…o…y..!!
Each one is assigned a particular duty to do. An advocate cannot do a doctor’s job or vice versa. A house owner had a jealous donkey and a pet dog. The donkey told the dog, “I will do the night watching, you go to sleep.” A thief came and looted the house. When the donkey brayed, the owner woke up and bet the donkey for having disturbed his sleep. Morning when he saw the valuables missing, he bet the dog for having failed in its duty. So, both were beaten by turn for their incompetency.

Broca, Hilarious one. In these days of evolving multi-tasking no wonder it may become a reality very soon.

Hahaha! Good one. Moral: It’s dangerous to express love. 🙂
