POWERFUL WOMAN
I happened to read a lively interview with Renuka Ramnath in Business Standard (BS) dated 19th October 2010. I loved the piece immensely and this is what I wrote to the Editor through a letter,on 20th October 2010.However,so far it has not been published and hence I thought of giving it some space on my blog,so that readers can get a glimpse of this powerful woman :
Dear Sir,
Your Lunch date piece about enigmatic Renuka Ramnath of Multiples in BS of 19th October 2010 was an exemplary story of her grit and determination,her facing odds and challenges in life with fortitude and coming out a winner ultimately in her own entrepreneurial venture after cutting her roots of her long career of 23 years, from ICICI Ventures.
A fascinating report on this “mother of two” who had earned the sweet sobriquet of “mother of private equities” too !
Right from her choice of traditional ‘daal makhni’ in the main course to the ‘kulfi‘ as a dessert,it shows she knows her onions and is cool to new ideas and is confident of spreading her wings to more glorious heights in near future.
We should salute this M’aam of MAAM ( initials of her venture: Multiples Alternate Asset Management ) and pray that more of her tribe multiply to demonstrate that not only woman has an indomitable spirit to survive but also has the power to lead an enterprise to newer pinnacles by sheer hard work and of course with divine blessings of God-her spiritual mentor behind her ! Kudos to Shyamal Majumdar for a power packed narration !

Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift.
